I must be an Asian-American living under a rock. It was only fairly recently that I learned about gluing and taping one’s eyelids. Today I discovered “circle lenses.” Circle lenses are colored contacts that have more of a colored area and make your eyes look crazy big and cartoon-like.

The photo to the left is from a site that sells them. Here are before-and-after shots of real people wearing some. And here are more photos of lense-wearers. The people in the 2nd link look more extreme. (I didn’t look at the rest of that forum thread; probably NSFW and fetishy) I think they effects are a little bit creepy, partly because they are alien-like and partly because it makes you look like a child… a sexy child. On the other hand, being a cartoon could be kind of cool.
